First Taste of the season with Tom Waits

Hello Fellow Ice Cream Enthusiasts!


It has been in the upper 60s for the past two days now here in the Boston area... bout time I had an ice cream! I decided since I missed the majority of the most beautiful Monday we have had in a long time while stuck inside ALL DAY that I would go for a ride right after work- straight to a place I couldn't stop thinking about. I was contemplating my flavor choice critically as the work day's end arrived. I chose a local favorite, School House in Burlington. My delightful choice was the Harwichport Mudpie. Yes, I have already had it; I really raved about it last year! It was a tough decision, being that Pistachio is my all time favorite flavor(officially), BUT it is not a School House signature like the Harwichport Mudpie. Plus, I was feeling chocolatey nutty as opposed to just nutty. So, I exited work, jumped in my car and quickly picked my fav station on my playlist. Driving with the windows down and my loud enjoyable music, I gracefully cruised to my destination despite the hurried rush of 6:30 traffic. Upon arrival, this perfectly fitting song came up and I had to honor it with a full and thorough listen.




I sat, smiling like the Cheshire Cat, while I anticipated the glorious sight I was to behold in just a few moments...

It didn't last long.



I admit, I thought about taking a "before" picture, but I just couldn't control my appetite's desire!

It is sure- the Ice Cream Bimbo is back!

And if you are an Ice Cream Parlor owner... be ready for me. ;)
